COVID-19 Patient Letter

UPDATE – 4/1/20

Providing that there are no further orders put into place, we would like to inform you that we will begin seeing patients for procedures, consultations and cosmetic treatments starting Tuesday, April 7th.

Please know that the health and safety of our patients, staff, physicians and the community remain our top priority. We are taking the most efficient precautionary measures and we will continue to have someone at the front door to screen for symptoms (fever, body aches, cough, sneezing, respiratory symptoms, etc). If you present with respiratory symptoms or a fever, you will be directed to go home for self-care and we will call you to reschedule your appointment.

All of these measures taken are on a precautionary basis, as none of our staff has tested positive for COVID-19. We completely understand that this is an inconvenience to you all, but we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Please note, only patients will be allowed in the office, no accompanying family members or children will be permitted. This is for their safety as well as the safety of the staff. If a patient requires assistance getting into the building, our staff will be happy to help.

We will continue to keep you updated if/when there are any changes.

We hope you are staying well and we’ll see you soon!

UPDATE – 3/18/20

In an effort to stop the community spread of COVID-19, we are taking precautionary measures and closing our office Monday 3/23/20 through Monday 4/6/20. A staff member will be available to answer phone calls from 8am to 4pm daily during the closure.

If you have an appointment scheduled and our staff has not yet been able to contact you, please call our office so we can reschedule your appointment.

The health and safety of our patients, staff, physicians and the community is our main priority. The Vein and Laser Institute is following all state and federal guidelines to make sure we are doing our part during these times. We appreciate your patience and understanding. We will keep you updated regarding the status of our business hours.

We are currently working on establishing a telemedicine remote system and will be able to offer remote visits in the very near future. We will keep you informed as this becomes available.

Stay well.

Original letter:

Please be advised of some changes we are implementing to keep you, your families, our staff and the community safe.

As of March 16th we will have someone at the front door to screen for symptoms (fever, body aches, cough, sneezing, respiratory symptoms, etc.).

  • Your temperature will be taken at the front door.
  • If you have respiratory symptoms (shortness of breath) or a fever, you will be directed to go home for self-care and we will call you to reschedule your appointment.

If you do not present with symptoms we will still see you for your scheduled appointment, however, this may change on a day by day basis based on State and Federal guidelines.

**Please note, only patients will be allowed in the office, no accompanying family members or children will be permitted, this is for their safety as well as the safety of the staff. If patient requires assistance getting into the building, our staff will be happy to help.

All of these measures taken are on a precautionary basis, as none of our staff have tested positive for COVID-19. We completely understand that this is an inconvenience to you all, but please know that your health and safety is our top priority.
